DWS Investments Europe has been named “Best Fund Management Group” in the inaugural Climate Change Awards.
The award was promoted by Incisive Media and the advisory firm Holden & Partners. As Investment Week, a publication of Incisive Media, stated in an article on 8 December: “In the opinion of the judging panel, DWS has the widest range of funds in the sectors being considered, and has shown a massive investment resource commitment.”

The judges received 153 applications – funds and companies – from 12 European countries, across six categories: Best Private Client Portfolio Manager; Best Water, Food, Agricultural Forestry Fund; Best Alternative Energy Fund; Best Climate Change Fund; Best Innovation in Climate Change Investment; and Best Fund Management Group.
"This award demonstrates the commitment DWS has made to climate change both across its fund management, research platforms and sales, putting together resources from Nicolas Huber’s investment team in Frankfurt, to Mark Fulton’s macro team in New York and London, to York Naumann’s sales efforts to position DWS on the UK market," says Henrik Takkenberg, Head of European Sales at DWS Investments.
The awards ceremony was held on 25 November at the House of Commons, London, and presented by Member of Parliament Justine Greening.
