As a member of the Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) division, DB Advisors is part of one of the first investment organizations to offer change-related investment opportunities to its clients. In 2009, DB Climate Change Advisors – part of the DeAM global organization – launched the world's first real-time carbon counter, designed to track the level of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
Deutsche Bank Asset Management (DeAM) signed the Principles for Responsible Investment, published by the United Nations (UN PRI). The six Principles for Responsible Investment, which are voluntarily complied with by the signatories, were developed by an international group of institutional investors. They reflect the growing importance of sustainability issues for investment decisions and provide a framework designed to help investors to take ecological and social issues as well as corporate governance aspects (ESG issues) into account in their investment decisions. more
